Santa Barbara, California is where I was born. My Dad was in the Navy and I lived mainly in the South. I was lucky enough to live in Key West as a child when there was unbelievable beauty and freedom for a childhood to be lived. I also lived in Charleston, South Carolina, Mobile’s twin sister city. The architecture, customs, culture and food are so much alike! However, there is a difference…..we have Mardi Gras!
I was educated at the University of Florida, so I am a Gator! After the University, I became a Flight Attendant for Eastern Air Lines, based in Miami. I enjoyed my career of travel to many destinations on many different types of aircraft. Eastern Airlines was the first American company to purchase and fly Europe’s Airbus. Perhaps Mobile will be the first city outside of France to build the Airbus!
Food can teach you much about people and their cultures. I collected cookbooks from wherever I flew. I adapted many artesianal recipes as my own. When cooking, I know the importance of a good kitchen in a home. After choosing a recipe, the ingredients and techniques will determine the outcome. Freshness, measurements, time temperature, utensils, cookware and appliances working together with passion insure a delicious outcome. The same is true for a real estate transaction.
